HELP END POVERTY AROUND THE WORLD

Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality resources to our community in a safe and secure environment. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve.  We work hard every day to better the lives of our organization's recipients through our many causes — including Feeding Children, Housing the Homeless and Fighting Poverty.  

 

U-CAP is dedicated to developing and implementing programs aimed to support marginalized people and take lead on any efforts that will address factors contributing to families being unable to make ends meet and not having access to clean, healthy foods.

There are different aspects to poverty, and several factors that may attribute to it, such as: economic inequalities, incarceration of the head of household, limited access to nutritional foods and clean water; violence and conflict, poor education, lack of job skills, run-down infrastructure, lack of leadership, governance, and social programs.

 

Different types of poverty include:

1. Absolute: little to no income

2. Relative: low income

3. Situational: due to job loss, climate, jail, etc.

4. Generational

5. Rural

6. Urban
